The Nedrose Cardinals football squad scored 70 points and limited the host Dunseith Dragons to 36 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] for a 9-Man Region 3 (9 Man) test on Friday, September 12. Nedrose will face a Bombers team coming off a 40-12 league win over Kenmare/Bowbells/Burke Central (Kenmare, ND). The Bombers record now stands at 2-1.

The Dragons (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Divide County (Crosby, ND). The Maroons go into the 9-Man Region 3 (9 Man) challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Divide County bounced Towner-Granville-Upham (Towner, ND), 48-38, in a league challenge.
