South Carolina High School Football - Greenwood Christian nips Eau Claire

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Greenwood Christian Hawks (Greenwood, SC) and the host Eau Claire Shamrocks (Columbia, SC), saw Greenwood Christian's football team nip Eau Claire by a final score of 20-16.

With the win, Greenwood Christian advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Hawks host Whitmire (Whitmire, SC) to encounter the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Whitmire lost 17-6 in their recent non-league bout against Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC)

The Shamrocks now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Williston-Elko for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. Eau Claire will encounter a Blue Devils team coming off a 31-8 non-league loss to Branchville (Branchville, SC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-3.
