The Elkton Golden Elks walloped the host Patterson Mill football team by a score of 53-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Elks play the Harford Tech Cobras (Bel Air, MD) in a Class 2A1A North challenge, on Friday, September 12. Elkton will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Cobras go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 36-21 non-league loss to Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MD).

The (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rising Sun (North East, MD). The Tigers come into the Class 2A1A North test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Rising Sun was routed by Queen Anne's County (Centreville, MD), 35-14, in a non-league test.
