Nebraska High School Football - Fleming thwarted by Wauneta-Palisade

September 5, 2025: Wauneta, NE 69045

Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Fleming Wildcats (Fleming, CO), 34-6 in a non-league battle.

The Broncos (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Flagler (Flagler, CO). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Flagler defeated Cheraw (Cheraw, CO), 24-8, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the North Park Wildcats (Walden, CO) in a A-6 North (6 Man) battle, on Saturday, September 13. Fleming will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 56-0 non-league loss to Caliche (Iliff, CO).
