North Carolina High School Football - Franklin beat Swain County

September 5, 2025: Bryson City, NC 28713

The Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) football were victorious over the host Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), 45-27 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the East Henderson Eagles (East Flat Rock, NC) in a Mountain Eight 4A/5A game, on Thursday, September 11. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 28-10 non-league loss to Rosman (Rosman, NC).

The Maroon Devils (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Mountain Heritage ran past Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC), 50-19, in a non-league game.
