Alabama High School Football - Valley Head tops Gaylesville

The Valley Head Tigers football team scored 55 points and held the host Gaylesville Trojans to 38 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Ider Hornets (Ider, AL) in a 1A Region 8 game, on Friday, September 12. Valley Head will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 43-7 league loss to Woodville (Woodville, AL).
The Trojans (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Appalachian (Oneonta, AL). The Eagles enter the 1A Region 8 game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Appalachian notched a victory over Locust Fork (Locust Fork, AL), 42-39, in a non-league game.
