Kansas High School Football - McPherson crushed by Great Bend

The Great Bend Panthers walloped the visiting McPherson Bullpups football team by a score of 42-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Olathe South Falcons (Olathe, KS) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 12. Great Bend will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 63-7 non-league win over Shawnee Mission West (Shawnee Mission, KS).

With the defeat, McPherson drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bullpups travel to Circle (Towanda, KS) to meet the Thunderbirds in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III test on Friday, September 12. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Circle won 55-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Field Kindley (Coffeyville, KS)
