The Long County Blue Tide felled the visiting Groves Rebels football team by a score of 50-20 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Tide play the Liberty County Panthers (Hinesville, GA) in a AAA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, September 12. Long County will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 45-7 league loss to Jenkins (Savannah, GA).
With the defeat, Groves drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rebels host Islands (Savannah, GA) to meet the Sharks in a AAA Region 3 test on Friday, September 12. The Sharks come into the test with a record of 0-3. Islands lost 35-21 in their recent league test against Johnson (Savannah, GA)
