South Carolina High School Football - Hammond sneaks past Porter-Gaud

The Hammond Skyhawks football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Porter-Gaud Cyclones to 7 in the Skyhawks league triumph on Friday.

The Skyhawks now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Heathwood Hall Episcopal for a SCISA 4A challenge on Friday, September 12. Hammond will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 14-13 non-league loss to Florence Christian (Florence, SC). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Porter-Gaud drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Bishop England (Charleston, SC) to battle the Battling Bishops in a non-league game on Friday, September 19. The Battling Bishops enter the game with a record of 2-0.
