The West Scranton Invaders football team (Scranton, PA), was crushed 40-0 in Friday's non-league match with the host Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA)

The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Berwick (Berwick, PA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Berwick walloped Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA), 33-12, in a non-league battle.

The Invaders now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Scranton for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. West Scranton will play a Knights team coming off a 45-0 non-league loss to Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA). The Knights record now stands at 1-2.
