    Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting St. Augustine Saints (San Diego, CA), 21-6 in a non-league battle.

    With the win, Helix advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Oceanside (Oceanside, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Oceanside lost 42-6 in their recent non-league battle against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA)

    The Saints now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Brawley for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. St. Augustine will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 28-14 non-league loss to Mission Bay (San Diego, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-3.
