Pennsylvania High School Football - New Castle trounces Highlands

In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting New Castle Hurricanes football team scored a big 32-0 win over the Highlands Golden Rams.

With the win, New Castle advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Hurricanes host Yough (Herminie, PA) to play the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 2-1. Yough lost 40-0 in their recent non-league match against Ringgold (Monongahela, PA)

Coming up next, the Golden Rams confront the East Allegheny Wild Cats (North Versailles, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Allegheny 7 battle, on Friday, September 12. Highlands will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Wild Cats go into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 53-13 non-league loss to Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA).
