California High School Football - Hoover sneaks past Verdugo Hills

September 5, 2025: Glendale, CA 91202

In Friday's non-league match, the host Hoover Tornados football squad scored a close 22-20 triumph over the Verdugo Hills Dons.

The Tornados (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Arcadia (Arcadia, CA). The Apaches go into the Pacific challenge with a 0-2 record.

The Dons (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA). The Toreadors go into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Taft nipped Arleta (Arleta, CA), 43-21, in a non-league challenge.
