North Carolina High School Football - Howard smashes Jones

September 5, 2025: Wilson, NC 27893

The Howard Eagles (Wilson, NC) football trounced the visiting Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC), 49-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, September 12. Howard will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 51-12 league win over Weldon (Weldon, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Trojans battle the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Jones will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 49-0 non-league win over Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC).
