California High School Football - Hughson holds off Pitman

The Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) football tipped the host Pitman Pride (Turlock, CA), 24-21 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Huskies now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Linden for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. Hughson will battle a Lions team coming off a 44-7 non-league loss to Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.

The Pride (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Golden Valley (Merced, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Golden Valley was edged by Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA), 55-19, in a non-league game.
