The Underwood Eagles walloped the host Interstate 35 Roadrunners football team by a score of 49-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Clarinda Cardinals (Clarinda, IA) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 12. Underwood will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 20-13 non-league loss to Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA).
With the defeat, Interstate 35 drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Roadrunners travel to Clarke (Osceola, IA) to face the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Clarke won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Saydel (Des Moines, IA)
