Maryland High School Football - John Carroll loses to Landon

September 5, 2025: Bethesda, MD 20817

Landon Bears (Bethesda, MD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), 27-13 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Landon advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Flint Hill (Oakton, VA) to play the Huskies in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Flint Hill lost 45-7 in their recent non-league match against Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA)

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. John Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Royals come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 38-16 league win over Mt. St. Michael Academy (Bronx, NY).
