Pennsylvania High School Football - Norristown thwarted by Kennett

Kennett Blue Demons (Kennett Square, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Norristown Eagles (Norristown, PA), 31-22 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Kennett advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Blue Demons travel to Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA) to meet the Phantoms in a non-league match on Thursday, September 11. The Phantoms come into the match with a record of 1-2. Phoenixville lost 42-14 in their recent non-league match against Henderson (West Chester, PA)

Coming up next, the Eagles meet the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights (West Chester, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Norristown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Golden Knights go into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 18-17 non-league loss to Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA).
