The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV) and the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), witnessed Keyser's football squad wallop Lewis County by a tally of 49-8.
The Golden Tornado (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Robert C. Byrd was crushed by Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV), 35-9, in a league bout.
The Minutemen now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Elkins for a Big Ten bout on Friday, September 12. Lewis County will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 45-6 non-league win over Moorefield (Moorefield, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.
