New York High School Football - Nyack nudges Kingston

Spectators at Friday's non-league bout between the Nyack Red Hawks (Upper Nyack, NY) and the host Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY), saw Nyack's football team nip Kingston by a final score of 20-19.

With the win, Nyack advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Red Hawks host Brewster (Brewster, NY) to encounter the Bears in a non-league contest on Friday, September 12. The Bears enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Brewster won 26-6 in their recent non-league contest against Columbia (East Greenbush, NY)

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Kingston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Gladiators enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 48-13 non-league loss to Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY).
