Arizona High School Football - Kofa trounced by La Joya Community

The Kofa Kings football squad (Yuma, AZ), was routed 64-27 in Friday's non-league match with the host La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ)

The Fighting Lobos (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Aztecs enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Copper Canyon was routed by Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ), 31-28, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Kings confront the Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Kofa will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 61-0 non-league loss to Fairfax (Laveen, AZ).
