Colorado High School Football - Lamar defeats Sterling

In Friday's non-league match, the host Lamar Thunder football squad scored a good 21-13 victory over the Sterling Tigers.

The Thunder (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Bennett (Bennett, CO). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Bennett was outscored by Kennedy (Denver, CO), 8-0, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Banning Lewis Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Sterling will play a Stallions team coming off a 33-13 non-league loss to Alamosa (Alamosa, CO). The Stallions record now stands at 0-2.
