Michigan High School Football - Lamphere sneaks past Port Huron Northern

The Lamphere Rams football squad scored 3 points and limited the visiting Port Huron Northern Huskies to 2 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grosse Pointe North for a Macomb Area - Gold test on Friday, September 12. Lamphere will meet a Norsemen squad coming off a 33-0 non-league loss to Cousino (Warren, MI). The Norsemen record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Port Huron Northern drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Huskies host Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI) to face the Falcons in a Macomb Area - Blue challenge on Friday, September 12. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Utica Ford won 41-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Warren Woods-Tower (Warren, MI)
