Georgia High School Football - Laney trounces Oglethorpe County

September 5, 2025: Lexington, GA 30648

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Laney Wildcats football squad scored a decisive 38-3 triumph over the Oglethorpe County Patriots.

The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Greene County (Greensboro, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Greene County was crushed by Morgan County (Madison, GA), 62-20, in a non-league battle.

The Patriots now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elbert County for a A D1 Region 8 match on Friday, September 19.
