Florida High School Football - Nature Coast Tech tops Lecanto

September 5, 2025: Brooksville, FL 34604

The Nature Coast Tech Sharks football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Lecanto Panthers to 26 in the Sharks non-league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Sharks face the Hudson Cobras (Hudson, FL) in a 3A District 9 challenge, on Friday, September 12. Nature Coast Tech will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Cobras go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 29-22 non-league win over Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL).

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gainesville (Gainesville, FL). The Hurricanes go into the 4A District 5 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Gainesville toppled Crystal River (Crystal River, FL), 20-7, in a non-league challenge.
