Iowa High School Football - North Linn tops Maquoketa Valley

The North Linn Lynx football squad scored 16 points and limited the host Maquoketa Valley Wildcats to 0 in the Lynx league triumph on Friday.
The Lynx now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host East Marshall for a A District 4 challenge on Friday, September 12. North Linn will face a Mustangs team coming off a 21-16 non-league win over Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Beckman (Dyersville, IA). The Trailblazers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Beckman toppled Monticello (Monticello, IA), 44-7, in a non-league test.
