The crowd at Friday's league contest between the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) and the host McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR), witnessed South Albany's football squad wallop McKay by a tally of 41-0.
The Redhawks (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeview (Redmond, OR). The Ravens enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Ridgeview trounced McNary (Keizer, OR), 35-0, in a non-league outing.
With the defeat, McKay drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Royal scots travel to Lebanon (Lebanon, OR) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Lebanon lost 42-0 in their recent non-league game against Mountain View (Bend, OR)
