The Melcher-Dallas Saints football squad scored 52 points and limited the host Twin Cedars Sabers to 40 in the Saints league triumph on Friday.
The Saints now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baxter for a 8-Man District 7 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 12. Melcher-Dallas will face a team coming off a 62-34 league loss to Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The record now stands at 0-2.
The Sabers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks enter the 8-Man District 7 (8 Man) challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Southeast Warren topped Baxter (Baxter, IA), 62-34, in a league test.
