The Mentor Cardinals felled the visiting St. Ignatius Wildcats football team by a score of 35-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Brunswick Blue Devils (Brunswick, OH) in a Greater Cleveland test, on Friday, September 12. Mentor will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 49-0 non-league win over Elyria (Elyria, OH).
With the defeat, St. Ignatius drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 3-0. Walsh Jesuit won 30-6 in their recent non-league test against Clarkson North (Mississauga, AK)
