Alabama High School Football - Northside trounces Montevallo

In Friday's league match, the host Northside Rams football squad scored a decisive 56-0 victory over the Montevallo Bulldogs.

The Rams (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Selma (Selma, AL). The Saints go into the 5A Region 3 battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Selma was crushed by Jemison (Jemison, AL), 34-28, in a league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Demopolis for a 5A Region 3 battle on Friday, September 12. Montevallo will play a Tigers team coming off a 41-0 non-league loss to Jackson (Jackson, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
