The Scotus Shamrocks football team (Columbus, NE), dropped 28-17 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Mount Michael Benedictine Knights (Elkhorn, NE)

With the win, Mount Michael Benedictine advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights host Schuyler (Schuyler, NE) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 0-2. Schuyler lost 60-20 in their recent non-league bout against Concordia (Omaha, NE)

The Shamrocks now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ashland-Greenwood for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. Scotus will encounter a Bluejays team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Wahoo (Wahoo, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-1.
