The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Walsh Eagles (Walsh, CO) and the visiting Mountain Valley Wolves (Saguache, CO), witnessed Walsh's football squad wallop Mountain Valley by a tally of 44-7.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Cheyenne Wells (Cheyenne Wells, CO). The Tigers enter the A-6 Southeast (6 Man) contest with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Cheyenne Wells smashed Wiley (Wiley, CO), 52-0, in a league bout.

The Wolves now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Manzanola for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13. Mountain Valley will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 35-25 non-league loss to Primero (Weston, CO). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-2.
