The Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) football tipped the visiting Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL), 18-14 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Zion-Benton for a North Suburban outing on Friday, September 12. Mundelein will battle a Zee-Bees team coming off a 31-26 non-league win over Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Zee-Bees record now stands at 2-0.
The Wolves (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Prospect was edged by Palatine (Palatine, IL), 37-34, in a non-league game.
