In Friday's league battle, the host Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] football team scored a big 64-30 win over the St. John Woodchucks.

With the win, Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The travel to North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] (Rolla, ND) to play the Cougars in a 9-Man Region 2 (9 Man) battle on Friday, September 12. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 2-1. North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] won 24-20 in their recent league battle against Cavalier (Cavalier, ND)
