Illinois High School Football - Niles Notre Dame nips St. Charles East

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Niles Notre Dame Dons (Niles, IL) and the host St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL), witnessed Niles Notre Dame's football squad edge St. Charles East by a tally of 31-28.

The Dons (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, St. Laurence nudged Evanston (Evanston, IL), 37-14, in a non-league bout.
