The Riverview Sarasota Rams held off the visiting Palmetto Tigers football squad by a margin of 38-35 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rams now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Melbourne Central Catholic for a non-league game on Friday, September 12. Riverview Sarasota will face a Hustlers team coming off a 21-9 non-league loss to Saint Andrew's (Boca Raton, FL). The Hustlers record now stands at 1-1.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Parrish Community (Parrish, FL). The Bulls enter the 6A District 11 game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Parrish Community held off Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL), 15-14, in a non-league game.
