Texas High School Football - White Oak sneaks past Pewitt

September 5, 2025: White Oak, TX 75693

The White Oak Roughnecks football team scored 30 points and restricted the visiting Pewitt Brahmas to 26 in the Roughnecks non-league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Roughnecks face the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. White Oak will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 15-14 non-league loss to Rivercrest (Bogata, TX).

With the defeat, Pewitt drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Brahmas travel to Redwater (Redwater, TX) to meet the Dragons in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 0-2. Redwater lost 72-7 in their recent non-league test against Winnsboro (Winnsboro, TX)
