The Quitman Bulldogs football team (Quitman, TX), was tipped 15-14 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Rivercrest Rebels (Bogata, TX)

With the win, Rivercrest advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Rebels host Clarksville (Clarksville, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, September 12. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-0. Clarksville won 30-25 in their recent non-league match against Boles (Quinlan, TX)

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the White Oak Roughnecks (White Oak, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 11. Quitman will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Roughnecks enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 30-26 non-league win over Pewitt (Omaha, TX).
