The Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE) football tipped the host St. Paul Wildcats (St. Paul, NE), 28-26 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arlington for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. Raymond Central will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 22-6 non-league win over Conestoga (Murray, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, St. Paul drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE) to clash with the Indians in a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 0-2. Broken Bow lost 18-7 in their recent non-league outing against Ogallala (Ogallala, NE)
