The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Reavis Rams (Burbank, IL) and the host Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL), witnessed Reavis's football squad wallop Thornton by a count of 35-0.

The Rams (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Bulldogs enter the South Suburban - Red contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Richards was routed by Sandburg (Orland Park, IL), 27-7, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Crete-Monee for a Southland battle on Friday, September 12. Thornton will play a Warriors team coming off a 41-6 non-league loss to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
