Indiana High School Football - River Forest overwhelmed by Wheeler

In Friday's league game, the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) football team triumphed over the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), by a tally of 49-0.

In their next game, the Bearcats face the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors (Hammond, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 12. Wheeler will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 1-2 record after their 28-7 league loss to Whiting (Whiting, IN).

The Ingots (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Gary West Side (Gary, IN). The Cougars enter the Greater South Shore - South game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Gary West Side trounced Hammond Central (Hammond, IN), 48-0, in a non-league outing.
