Santo Wildcats (Santo, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Valley View Eagles (Valley View, TX), 48-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Santo improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Bruceville-Eddy (Eddy, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-1. Bruceville-Eddy lost 40-12 in their recent non-league test against Bartlett (Bartlett, TX)

With the defeat, Valley View drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX) to meet the Tomcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Tomcats go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Tom Bean won 21-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Chisum (Paris, TX)
