Louisiana High School Football - Varnado overwhelmed by Slaughter Community Charter

In Friday's non-league game, the Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA) football squad trounced the host Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), by a margin of 43-0.

The Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Morgan City for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. Slaughter Community Charter will battle a Tigers team coming off a 40-14 non-league win over Berwick (Berwick, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Pope John Paul II was crushed by Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS), 34-16, in a non-league bout.
