Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats (Huntsville, AL) followers went home content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL), 35-17 in a league match.
The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Randolph School (Huntsville, AL). The Raiders come into the 4A Region 8 match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Randolph School was beaten by Plainview (Rainsville, AL), 54-7, in a league match.
Next up, the Falcons play the North Jackson Chiefs (Stevenson, AL) in a 4A Region 8 battle, on Thursday, September 11. St. John Paul II will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Chiefs go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 34-34 league Madison County (Gurley, AL).
