California High School Football - Washington Union sneaks past Torres

September 5, 2025: Fresno, CA 93706

In Friday's non-league match, the host Washington Union Panthers football squad scored a close 28-21 triumph over the Torres Toros.

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Justin Garza (Fresno, CA). The Guardians come into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Justin Garza tipped Kerman (Kerman, CA), 29-27, in a non-league test.

With the loss, Torres moves to 0-3 on the season. The Toros travel to McLane (Fresno, CA) to face the Highlanders in a North Yosemite challenge on Friday, October 3. The Highlanders go into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
