California High School Flag Football - South East nudges Dr. Maya Angelou Community

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting South East Jaguars flag football squad scored a close 13-6 victory over the Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix.
The Jaguars (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Elizabeth nipped WISH Academy (Los Angeles, CA), 19-14, in a non-league battle.
The Phoenix now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Stella High Charter Academy for a Exposition battle on Monday, September 8.
