California High School Flag Football - Trabuco Hills defeats Sage Hill

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Trabuco Hills Mustangs (Mission Viejo, CA) and the host Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA), witnessed Trabuco Hills's flag football squad topple Sage Hill by a tally of 26-13.

The Mustangs (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against San Clemente (San Clemente, CA). The Tritons enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, San Clemente thwarted San Marcos (San Marcos, CA), 15-9, in a non-league bout.

The Lightning now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Portola for a Pacific Coast bout on Monday, September 8. Sage Hill will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 27-12 league win over Rosary Academy (Fullerton, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-2.
