Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD), 1-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Georgetown Day moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mighty Hoppers travel to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC) to confront the Tigers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the confront the Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart Gators (Bethesda, MD) in a ISL outing, on Thursday, October 9. Connelly School of the Holy Child will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
