Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Germantown Academy Patriots (Fort Washington, PA) and the host Mt. St. Joseph Academy Magic (Flourtown, PA), saw Germantown Academy's soccer squad hold off Mt. St. Joseph Academy by a count of 2-1.

The Patriots (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop Ryan (Philadelphia, PA). The Raiders and Ragdolls enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Archbishop Ryan tipped Franklin Towne (Philadelphia, PA), 7-0, in a non-league match.

The Magic now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Villa Joseph Marie for a Catholic Academies match on Tuesday, September 9.
