The Menlo-Atherton Bears football team (Atherton, CA), was crushed 41-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA)

The Dons (2-0) will now prepare for their match against St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, St. Ignatius College Preparatory routed Tamalpais (Mill Valley, CA), 21-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bears confront the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Menlo-Atherton will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
